Communication students shine bright at HK4As Students' Award

Two interdisciplinary teams formed by students from the School of Communication were recognised at the HK4As Students' Award 2023, as part of the annual Kam Fan Awards organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong (HK4As). The students received the Bronze, Best Craft of Art and Merit awards respectively for their integrated creative campaigns centred around the theme "Subscribe Responsibly to Streaming Services".

The team consisting of Advertising and Branding students Yang Sihan and Zhang Wenrui, along with Animation and Media Arts students Zhu Binbin and Zhu Tianchen, was awarded the Bronze and Best of Art awards for their entry titled "The Crumbling Universe: Great Return Battle". Another team, comprising Public Relations student Tang Chung-yan, Organizational Communication student Chan Wing-hung, and Advertising and Branding students Julia Yun Cheuk-lam and Cheung Ka-wing, received the Merit award for their entry titled "Creating Is Not Easy, So We Support Each Other".

The HK4As Students' Award serves as a platform for discovering and nurturing young talents, giving them an opportunity to showcase their creative abilities. The Kam Fan Awards are regarded as the "Grand Prix" accolade of the Hong Kong advertising industry.
