Student Exchange
 Fees & Payment
Depending upon the exchange/study abroad agreement between HKBU and the respective home institutions, an exchange student is normally required to pay the regular tuition fee to his/her home institution and dorm fee to HKBU. For details, please check with your home institution and/or HKBU's International Office.

1. Tuition

For Exchange Students
According to our agreement with your institution, you will continue to pay tuition at your home institution and will not be required to pay this at HKBU. However, you will be required to pay room and administrative fees at HKUB. HKBU will bill you for payment.

For Study Abroad Students
According to our agreement with your institution, you will be required to pay tuition, accommodation and administrative fees at HKBU. HKBU will bill your home institution for payment.

For 2008/09 the total fee for tuition and accommodation (including the administrative fee) per semester is US$6,033.

For Students from Non-Partner Institutions
You will be required to pay tuition, accommodation and administrative fees at HKBU. HKBU will bill you for payment.

When making your application, a non-refundable application fee of HK$250 is required.

2. Administrative Fee

All students are required to pay an administrative fee of HK$1,600 to cover costs such as visa application fee, courier service fees, and some academic and orientation services.
