The East-West Talks series was launched in 1999 with an intention to enhance communication between Asian and Western scholars and promoting better understanding between East and West. The programme is organized by LEWI's Europe-China Research Programme, which is hosted by the Department of Government and International Studies at HKBU.

RGS Seminars


The RGS seminar is a regular activity of LEWI, as a part of the Institute's Resident Graduate Scholarship (RGS) Programme. At the end of their study at HKBU or other member institutions, RGS recipients are required to give a seminar reporting their research findings in Hong Kong. The seminars are chaired by the recipients' field supervisors.
