Research & Development Division

The Research & Development Division (RDD) puts together the expertise of staff at the School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) and other University departments who have experience and interest in the research and development (R & D) of Chinese medicine. This move is an extension as well as an expansion of activities previously carried out by the Institute for the Advancement of Chinese Medicine (IACM) that has now become a University-owned company. RDD manages the more academic side of R & D and also assists in undergraduate and postgraduate training, focussing on product commercialization and contract work. It also co-ordinates activities in the University, as well as with overseas institutions in CM research. RDD provides technical support to IACM that continues to provide services to the CM industry and public sector.
