"MyLibrary Calendar" is HKBU Library’s effort to streamline the communication between the Library and its patrons in the distribution of circulation records, library emails & notices, as well as records of library facilities reservation. It facilitates library patrons to use their own personal calendar applications as a single, one-stop personal platform to collect and manage library calendar events and records.

Patrons can subscribe to "MyLibrary Calendar" in any calendar application (e.g. Apple iCal, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook 2007*, Microsoft Windows Vista Calendar, Mozilla Lightning, Mozilla SunBird, etc.) which supports the iCalendar format. "MyLibrary Calendar" services are free and allow patrons to receive event reminders via Google Calendar SMS service. You do not even need to give any additional personal data or notification to the Library when you subscribe, unsubscribe or change your calendar applications.
 		  
Two types of calendars are available:
  1. "Library Event Calendar" is for any person who is interested in receiving the latest news on HKBU Library services, facilities, opening hours and outreach activities.
     
  2. "Personal Library Calendar" is available for HKBU Library borrower card holders only. It allows library patrons to collect and manage the data of their library circulation records, interlibrary loan records and group study/viewing room bookings.
