Booking

 The Rooms may be reserved...

  • by teaching staff and students
  • for the use of eligible Library users only
  • for using audio-visual materials, watching television, or any other related activities
  • for using personal, non-pirated materials only for educational purposes
  • for no more than 2.5 hours per session
  • at most once a day and at most 3 times a week for the same group of users

 General notes:

  • Please limit the volume to a maximum of 30
  • All bookings should be done online
  • We reserve the right to reassign the Room to other users if the group does not show up 15 minutes after the booking time

 Walk-in users:

  • Walk-in users are welcome to register at the MLC counter for the Rooms when the Rooms are available
  • When there are walk-in users, any group currently occupying the Room should leave at the end of their booked period


Check In / Check Out

 Upon check in, please:

  • leave the instructor's staff card at the MLC counter if the session is a class or a tutorial
  • leave the staff and student cards of all users at the counter if the session is not a class
  • show personal audio-visual materials to counter staff

 After using the Rooms, please:

  • wipe off all markings made on the whiteboard and return all furniture to their original positions
  • collect your staff and student cards at the counter


Conduct of Users

  • Keep the Rooms neat and tidy
  • Take good care of all computing and AV equipment
  • Any items left after check out may be removed by library staff without prior notice
  • We reserve the right to inspect the Rooms even if they are in use and request improper users leaving the Rooms and the Library immediately
  • Take note of the Library's guidelines for the Conduct of Users, which also apply to the Rooms
