RefWorks is a Web-based bibliographic management tool that allows you to:
Import references directly from major databases available through the Library homepage and the Library Catalogue or from text files, or enter references manually.
Create personal folders and organize references into folders for different topics.
Format in-text citations.
Create bibliographies in a variety of citation styles including APA, MLA, and Chicago.
Access your references from any location via the Web.
If you have forgotten your account details, or if you are not sure if you have previously registered for a RefWorks account, please go to the RefWorks Login Centre. Then click on the "Forgot your log-in?" link to submit your e-mail address for verification.
Off-campus Access:
As well as your personal username and password, you will need to enter the Group Code for HKBU to gain off-campus access to RefWorks.
Using Write-N-Cite:
Write-N-Cite is a utility programme that works with MS Word to facilitate the formatting of in-text citations. It is also able to create a bibliography at the end of your document in a specified citation style.
