Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English Language & Literature and BEd (Hons.) in English Language Teaching Programme is a 4-year programme leading to the award of two Honours degrees. it will provide students with thorough preparation in two distinct disciplines: English Language & Literature and Education Studies. During the summer preceding Year III, students will embark on a 6-8 week Overseas Immersion Programme to further enhance their English proficiency and cultural awareness in an intensely English-speaking environment.
Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in History Programme aims to develop students' critical thinking and analytical ability in understanding historical events, with an emphasis on Sino or Asian-Western relations, and on Chinese, Western, Asian and local Hong Kong history.

of Education Studies in collaboration with Departments of Geography, History
and Sociology respectively. All of them provide students with thorough
preparation in twp disciplines, leading to the award of two degrees.
Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Physical Education and Recreation Management is a 3-year study that aims to provide knowledge and practical experience in the discipline of physical education and recreation, as well as the training of sports leaders and PE teachers.
Bachelor
of Science (Hons.) in Mathematical Science and Bachelor of Education (Hons.)
in Mathematics Teaching Programme equips students with extensive knowledge
and skills in two disciplines as well as a recognised teaching
qualification.
Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons.) in China Studies is an inter-disciplinary 3-year programme that focuses on China. Option subjects such as Geography, History and Sociology are taught by departments in the Faculty of Social Sciences. A distinctive feature of this Programme is the Summer Sojourn programme. It requires all second year students to spend five weeks at the Tsinghua University in Beijing to integrate the knowledge they learn about China with personal experiences.
Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons.) in European Studies is a 4-year study, unique in Hong Kong. The Programme offers the option to specialize in either French or German, and focuses on European Studies that China Studies relates to government and international relations. Students spend their third year of university study in Europe with an opportunity for internship with a local company.
Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons.) in Geography Programme provides students a knowledge of the spatial order, and interdependence of peoples and regions. It also emphasizes in problem solving in the area of environmental and socio-spatial development.
Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons.) in Government and International Studies Programme aims to provide students a solid foundation in three main areas of political science in comparative aspects: first, the internal structures and processes of the state; second, the relations between states, and third, the theory of the state. In addition, the Major also focuses on the role of international governmental and non-governmental organisations and regimes as well as on non-sovereign actors quasi-states in the international scene. Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons.) in Sociology Programme concerns the study of dialectic relationship of individuals and society. It is concerned with how an individual understands the social world and how social structures are organised.
Bachelor of Social Work (Hons.) offers a 3-year training in theory and practice of social work. Students begin their practical training in the 2nd year of their study.
Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons.) in Psychology is a 3-year degree programme offered for graduates of associate degree programmes. It aims to help students develop life goals and foster a positive attitude towards learning. The programme also provides them with a thorough understanding of the discipline, particularly in the areas of clinical, developmental and educational psychology.
Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sport and Recreation Leadership Programme is a 3-year degree programme offered for graduates of associate degree programmes who wish to develop a career in the sport and recreation industry. A special focus is placed on the planning and the delivery of sport and recreation programmes to persons with special needs such as disabilities, developmental concerns and older adults.
Diploma in Education is a full-time programme that provides teacher training alongside the major academic study in Year 3-4.
