We are a group of four students from Digital Graphic Communication, School of Communication, commissioned by the University to redesign the University Homepage for the new millennium in June 1999.

To make our homepage not be an ordinary one, we had put much efforts in studying the design and structure. We believed that with the new millennium stepped in, not only the University, but also its Homepage, should be freshened up.

Our team aimed to provide the net surfers with a simple interface, clear navigation and quick access to the information of the HKBU on the net. And the design should help maintain the favourable impression of our University and encourage more people to visit the site.

We are glad that a new homepage for HKBU was finally born. Here we would like to express our thanks to the Department of Communication Studies, the Information Technology Service Centre, the University Relations and the University's Web Advisory Sub-Committee for their guidance and support during the whole process.

Hope you all would enjoy viewing our new face-lift.
