Congratulations to four Year 3 students, Chen Mengying (Finance), Gong Jia (Accounting), Jiang Xinyu (Finance) and Zhang Yi (Finance), who captured the Championship at The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts (HKSFA) University Investment Research Challenge 2009-10. The winning BBA Team will represent Hong Kong to compete in the Asia-Pacific regional level of the competition to be held in the Philippines in March 2010.

Standing out among 29 participating teams from 11 countries, the HKBU team won the Gold Prize and Best Presenter awards at the IIBD Case Competition 2009. The team members are Chan Dennis Alexander (MBA Year 1), Emma Cheng Shuk-Man (Marketing Year 3), Bryan Wang Can (Information System Management Year 3) and Wen Keyin (Human Resources Management Year 3).

To celebrate the commencement of around 400 business graduates from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the School of Business held a Reception for Business Graduates Class of 2009 on 9 November. Prof. Stephen Cheung, Dean of School of Business, delivered a speech to congratulate the graduates and wish them success in the future. Graduates took photos and shared the joyful moment with their teaching faculty, relatives and friends.
