A good Human Resources Management (HRM) student should
have a solid secondary school record. In addition, this
Concentration would be suitable for someone who likes
working with people and who is interested in learning
how to manage the people aspect of a business. HRM students
should be well organised and have good communication
and interpersonal skills.

HRM graduates can pursue careers in management or human
resources management, including specialties such as
recruitment and selection, training and development,
compensation and benefits, or industrial relations.
What professional
recognition can graduates get?
1. Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
Graduates can directly enter the Advanced Certificate
Stage 2.
2. Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management
(HKIHRM)
Graduates are eligible to register as Associate Members
of the Institute.
3. The Hong Kong Institute of Company Secretaries (HKICS)
and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators
(ICSA)
Exemptions are granted from all subjects in the Foundation
Programme of the HKICS/ICSA.
4. Hong Kong Institute for Training Professionals (HKIPT)
Graduates are eligible to register as Associate Members
of the institute.
5. International Institute of Management (IIM)
Enrolled students and graduates are eligible to register
as Associate Members of the Institute.
