Exchange Scholarship for Outstanding Business Students
/ Exchange Award
AIMS
The School of Business has long been dedicating efforts
and resources to providing students with various exchange
opportunities. The following scholarships are established
to encourage and enable more students to gain exchange
experience and exposure to versatile global business
environments:
DETAILS
HK$1,200,000 has been set aside to sponsor students
to participate in the Student Exchange Programmes in
2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 academic years. Around
40 students will benefit from the Scholarship/Award
every year.
- Exchange Scholarship for Outstanding Business
Students
-
Details: Scholarships of maximum
HK$20,000 each, depending on the region**, will
be awarded to outstanding business students to participate
in the Student Exchange Programme for one semester
or one year, or Summer Exchange Programme recognized
by the School.

Selection Criteria: Hong Kong residents
studying at Year 1 or Year 2 of Bachelor of Business
Administration (Hons) Programme, with cumulative
GPA of 3.0 or above* and having
attained a certain level of achievement in community
service, service to the University/School and/or
extra-curricular activities.
- Remarks: Only conditional offer will be made to
Year 1 applicants. To secure the offer, they must
obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above upon completion
of Year 1.
- Exchange Award
- Details: Awards of maximum HK$20,000 each, depending
on the region**, will be awarded to students to
participate in the Student Exchange Programme for
one semester or one year, or Summer Exchange Programme
recognized by the School.
- Selection Criteria: Hong Kong residents studying
at Year 1 or Year 2 of Bachelor of Business Administration
(Hons) Programme, with cumulative
GPA of 2.8 or above*, with financial
needs and having attained a certain level of achievement
in community service, service to the University/School
and/or extra-curricular activities.
- Remarks: Only conditional offer will be made to
Year 1 applicants. To secure the offer, they must
obtain a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above upon completion
of Year 1.
*Year 1 applicants who do not have academic results
at the time of application can still apply for Exchange
Scholarship for Outstanding Business Students and
Exchange Awards. BBA Office will check your GPA results
afterwards.

- A completed Application
Form
- A copy of academic transcript*
- [For applicants of Exchange Award only] A self-statement
of not more than 300 words on your financial needs
- Any other relevant supporting documents
*For year 1 applicants, academic transcript is not
required.
