Seminar on “Offshore Renminbi Market – Challenges and Opportunities for HK and its SMEs”

Institute for Enterprise Development (IED) is collaborating with Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ and Exporters’ Association (HKCIEA – 香港中華出入口商會) to conduct a research project on “The Road of Development of SMEs – The Present and Future”. Under this Project, a seminar on “Offshore Renminbi Market – Challenges and Opportunities for HK and its SMEs”(「人民幣離岸市場對香港與中小企的機遇」) was held on 14 December 2010 at HKCIEA. The guest speaker Mr. Nicholas Kwan (關家明先生), Regional Head of Economics Research, NEA, Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited shared his views on the development of Renminbi and its effects on the challenges faced by Hong Kong and SMEs. The seminar was well attended by over 60 SMEs entrepreneurs and professionals.
