The A-Team is Open for Business!

The School of Business has recently launched an internship program with AIESEC (see: http://hkbu.aiesec.hk/) and brought on five international interns. Bonnie, Dominik, Helen, Nicholas, and Shan - also known as “The A-Team”, have the goal of developing the communication skills of BBA students.

One of the many new initiatives launched by The A-Team is a social program called Chit Chat Circles (C3); with the objectives to allow students a comfortable environment to practice both formal and informal uses of English as well as gain more intercultural awareness – over snacks and drinks. The first session kicked off on September 14th with lively discussions about travelling experiences and destinations. Upcoming sessions are expected to cover topics ranging from cultural foods to foreign slang to “how to talk to the cute foreigner from across the room”.

C3 sessions are held every Tuesday and Friday afternoon, but remember that spaces are limited so watch out for announcements on how to sign up! Students interested in joining any AIESEC facilitated initiatives are encouraged to visit WLB409 for more information.
