Bachelor
of Business Administration (Honours)
Since the early 1960s, the School has been a pioneer
among sister institutions in launching a broadly based
business programme at the undergraduate level. We nurture
future leaders who possess an international perspective,
ethical beliefs, a critical mind, and a sense of mission.
In 1989, we offered the first China Business Studies
Option for BBA students in Hong Kong. Currently, we
have seven Concentrations: Accounting, Applied Economics,
China Business Studies, Finance, Information Systems
and E-Business Management, Human Resources Management,
and Marketing. The course of study culminates in the
submission of an individual project in year 3. We are
the only Hong Kong business school to require a final-year
BBA Honours Project. It is a unique and valuable element
in the BBA curriculum, providing a focus for the integration
and application of knowledge acquired from different
business subjects. With an annual intake of about 300
students, there is very keen competition for BBA places
resulting in rising admission scores. Our BBA graduates
have been very well received by local employers.
