September 2010
The 9th Meeting of the Consortium for Globalization of Chinese Medicine was held successfully on August 23-25, 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. There were a total of 557 attendees and 387 accepted abstracts for the Meeting. Please click here to view the photos of the event.
August 2010
We are pleased to announce that over 600 registrations have been received for this year's Meeting. Thank you very much for your support.

Pre-event Cocktail Reception (August 22, 2010, 17:30 - 19:30):
The Pre-event Cocktail Reception will be held at Lower Lobby, Novotel Century Hong Kong Hotel, Wan Chai. Delegates may do the meeting registration at the reception. Please click here for the location map of the hotel.
Gala Dinner (August 23, 2010, 19:00 - 21:30):
The Gala Dinner will be held at Convention Hall, Level 1, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Wan Chai. Welcome speeches and arts performances will be presented.
Visit to School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University (Optional)
(August 25, 2010, 14:30 - 17:00):
The tour will cover the following places of interest in the Jockey Club School of Chinese Medicine Building:
- Dr. & Mrs. Hung Hin Shiu Museum of Chinese Medicine
- The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Chinese Medicines Centre
- Dr. Stephen Riady Chinese Medicine Library
- Hong Kong Baptist University Mr. & Mrs. Chan Hon Yin Chinese Medicine Specialty Clinic and Good Clinical Practice Centre
- Teaching and Research Facilities
Coach transportation will be arranged for delegates joining the tour from HKCEC after the Post-event Lunch. Coach service will also be provided after the tour, with drop-off points at Kowloon Airport Express Station (for delegates going to the airport) and Wan Chai (for delegates back to hotels).

A total of 382 abstracts have been accepted for poster presentation in this year's meeting. Confirmation email has already been sent by the CGCM Central Office to all authors of the accepted abstracts. The full list of titles of the accepted abstracts is now available for viewing. The deadline for abstract submission for Poster Presentations is extended to Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Please click here for details.
Announcement: Please note that, upon a venue rearrangement, all three days of the Meeting (August 23-25, 2010) will now be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The Pre-event Welcoming Reception (Sunday, August 22, 2010) will be held at Novotel Century Hong Kong, Wan Chai (click here for the location map of the hotel).
