Master of Social Sciences in Media Management is the first of its kind in the territory that aims at finding a niche in higher education through quality training of managerial personnel in the media industry where such talents are rare, particularly in the larger China area.

It integrates a diverse range of academic areas in communication, journalism, public relations and advertising, marketing, corporate management, finance, and law. The programme formally started in January 2006.
