was presented a Fellowship Award by the Hong kong Recreation management Association in recognition of his contribution to local sports development.

has been presented a Fellowship Award by the Hong Kong Recreation Management Association.

has been selected by American Association for Active Lifestyles and Fitness as 2005 AAALF International Relations Council International Scholar.

has been elected as the President of the Society of Chinese Scholars of Exercise Physiology and Fitness for a term of two years.

has been appointed by Home Affairs Bureau of the HKSAR Government to serve on the Provisional Hong Kong Sports Institute Board of Directors from October 31, 2003 to March 31, 2005.

was accepted as a member of the China Senior Professors Association (CSPA) (中國老教授協會) in November 2002 and appointed as a council member of the Sport/PE Executive Committee of CSPA for four years.
