梁佩詩（左）與嚴循放眼世界、攜手赴法國深造

Miss Yan Xun and Miss Vicky Leung, fresh from graduating with degrees in European Studies, were granted scholarships by a leading French Institute and the French government respectively. They will travel to France by late August to begin masters' programmes in international relations. With high hopes for the future, the pair wish to broaden their knowledge and use it for the benefit of people everywhere.

Four years ago Yan Xun was offered a scholarship to study at HKBU. This year, she was granted the merit-award scholarship by the most prestigious French Political Science institution, Sciences Po Paris. Yan Xun hopes to learn more about international economic development so as to contribute to Asian economic development.

Vicky was offered the Excellence Scholarship Alexandre Yersin by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong to enter the Masters Programme in Sciences Po Lille. For the coming two years, Vicky will be engaged in international relations and international public management which she hopes will enable her to work for international non-government organisations. Vicky said her mission is to work in Africa to help resolve the problems of food shortages and inadequacy at meeting basic needs.

Having spent their third undergraduate year at the Science Po Paris, both Yan Xun and Vicky regarded it as an invaluable experience - widening their scope and improving their proficiency in French by giving them a chance to make friends from different countries.

攻讀歐洲研究課程的嚴循同學和梁佩詩同學，分別獲得法國著名學府和法國政府頒發獎學金，將於八月底負笈法國修讀為期兩年的國際事務碩士課程。兩位同學對前途充滿信心，期望能增廣見聞、日後學以致用，為人類生活謀福祉。

嚴循同學四年前以優異成績考取獎學金，從內地到浸大升學；她今年再接再厲，獲著名的巴黎政治學院取錄為碩士生，並獲發獎學金。嚴循希望汲取有關國際經濟的知識，日後能為亞洲經濟發展作貢獻。

梁佩詩同學獲法國駐港總領事館頒發獎學金，將前往里爾政治學院深造。她期望修讀有關國際關係和國際公營機構行政管理的課程，有助她達成宏願，加入國際非政府組織，到非洲工作，協助當地人民解決糧食和基本生活需要的問題。

兩位同學在大學三年級時曾到巴黎政治學院進修一年。她們均認為到海外交流是寶貴的經驗，與不同國藉同學相處，除了令自己眼界大開之外，法文亦進步神速。
