Five finalist teams were chosen by the Panel of Judges.  They were invited to Hong Kong Baptist University to compete for awards in the final round of the Competition on 11 November 2008.  The five finalist teams were:

•  Ateneo de Manila University, the Philippines

•  Hong Kong Baptist University, HKSAR

•  Shanghai Jiaotong University, mainland China

•  Simon Fraser University, Canada

•  Sun Yat-sen University, mainland China

Financial Support for Finalists

Finalists from overseas received hotel and meal allowance in Hong Kong from 10 – 14 November 2008. All finalist teams could attend the IIBD & LEWI International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship to be held on 12 – 13 November 2008 for free.
