Registration and Paymenet

 


Applications together with the registration deposits should be submitted to the IIBD Secretariat on or before 10 May 2008. Late applications may be considered only if space is still available. To complete registration, students must pay all fees by 31 May 2008. All payments should be made by bank draft/cheque payable to HONG KONG BAPTIST UNIVERSITY. Fees are itemised below for easy reference.


Tuition:
 

All courses - US$1,000 each.
The tuition covers basic reading materials and local travelling expenses for some of the company visits and field trips.


Accommodation:

 

US$290, covering the period from 30 June - 25 July 2008 (25 nights)
Students will be accommodated on a twin-shared basis in the Student Residence Halls * of Hong Kong Baptist University. It is conveniently located in the heart of an urban area and easily accessible from different parts of the city.

Visa entry to Hong Kong:





Students accepted to the IIBD Summer Institute programme should apply for visas (if applicable) at the Chinese Embassy in their home countries. A list of visa requirements is available on the website of the HKSAR Immigration Department: http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_4_2.htm

 

Travel Insurance:


Students are advised to arrange their own travel plan and insurance in advance.

 

Cancellations:

 



Cancellations are accepted, with penalty of US$150 per applicant, if written notification is received on or before 31 May 2008. The deposits will be forfeited if cancellations are received thereafter.

 

Modifications:


Some modifications to timetable and venues may be necessary, but every effort will be made to avoid inconvenience to students.
