Organised by World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Hong Kong and supported by the School of Business of Hong Kong Baptist University, the “Forum on World EXPO 2010 Shanghai, China” was unveiled on 18 January 2010 at Hong Kong Baptist University. Prof. Stephen Y.L. Cheung, Dean, School of Business delivered the welcome remarks at the beginning of the Forum since the School serves as the Secretariat of WTCA (HK).
Mr. Henry Tang Ying-Yen, Chief Secretary for Administration of the Government of HKSAR, officiated the launching of the WTCA website for World EXPO 2010 Shanghai, China during the Forum. Dr. Annie S.C. Wu, Chairman of WTCA Hong Kong commented that it is timely and important for the students in Hong Kong to participate in this kind of event to increase their awareness of the World EXPO in Shanghai, China.
Over 100 representatives of local and international renowned business chambers, consulates, HKBU students and secondary school students attended the Forum. The Forum provided a platform to enhance the knowledge and understanding of the World EXPO for the participants. The Panel Speakers, who are representatives of World EXPO 2010, HKSAR Government, WTCA (HK) and The Chinese Foundation Secondary School, shared the details of the World EXPO as well as their experience of preparing this mega event with the participants.

由世界貿易中心協會（香港）主辦的「中國2010上海世界博覽會」研討會於2010年1月18日假香港浸會大學隆重揭幕。香港浸會大學工商管理學院作為世界貿易中心協會（香港）秘書處，院長張仁良教授於研討會上向來賓致歡迎辭。
香港特別行政區政務司司長唐英年先生為研討會之主禮嘉賓，並主持「世界貿易中心協會–中國2010上海世界博覽會」網頁的揭幕儀式。世界貿易中心協會（香港）主席伍淑清博士致辭時表示，是次活動可提升香港學生對上海世博的認識。
研討會吸引超過一百位本地及國際商會代表、駐港領事館及代表和大學及中學學生出席。五位來自上海世博、香港特區政府、世界貿易中心協會（香港）及中華基金中學的嘉賓講者，分享他們籌備上海世博的經驗，令與會者對上海世博加深認識和了解。
