The Shunde Ecological Park creates economic opportunities through nature-based tourism which also contributes to the conservation of the remaining natural resources in the north of the PRD. A portion of entrance fees is contributed to research and conservation projects of the park. Shunde Ecological Park also serves as a research center where scientists conduct research about biodiversity, integrated farming systems and eco-tourism. A visitor center has been built to educate the visitors the importance of environmental protection. By experiencing the natural beauty and magnificent species of the area, visitors will appreciate the need to protect the natural environment for future generations.
