| Title | Changes of Value Orientation of Online News and Their Influence |

| Abstract |
Orientation
of news value determines the development trend of news communication. Since
the emergence of internet media, a series of changes have taken place in
the value orientation of online news, which deserves our attention. The
changes are embodied in three aspects: (1) connotations of news value
criteria are broadened, (2) the spotlight of value orientation varies,
(3) news value criteria have been developed. The reasons of such
changes include: (1) internet technologies provide support, (2)
media competition has become a present drive, (3) social development
generate new demands for news. As for the China's journalism, the changes
of value orientation of online news play an active part, such as the propaganda-oriented
news report has been replaced by the information-oriented one and the area
of news report is widely broadened, while these changes also bring some
negative effect which can not be negligible and must be piloted to a correct
road, such as mediocrity, incitement and fragmentation. (Chinese version) |
