Submission & Publication of Papers

The conference accepts presentation of academic papers, project papers, and broadcast news items.

The conference invites abstracts of academic or project papers and panel proposals relevant to (but not limited to) the conference themes. Paper abstracts and panel proposals within 500 words must be received by September 1, 2003. Authors will be notified of acceptance by September 24. Full papers will have to be submitted by November 19.

Authors of news items including broadcast news reports, features, or documentaries are invited to submit item descriptions within 500 words. News item descriptions must be received by September 1. Submission of news item description must be accompanied by an agreement of the item's copyright holder for the item to be shown at the conference if accepted. A VHS or DVD copy of accepted news items must be submitted by November 19.

All submissions should be accompanied by the author's name and contact means.

Publication of Conference Papers
The Information Society has agreed in principle to publish selected papers of this conference in a special issue. We are also exploring the possibility of publishing other selected papers in a refereed book volume. Authors who wish to have their papers considered for publication in these venues must submit their full papers by the November 19, 2003 deadline.
