The Journalism Mentor-mentee scheme, starting in September 2006, brings in each year about 25 senior Hong Kong journalists to become mentors for mainly first-year J-students. Activities will include lectures, small-group discussions, gatherings, field observation and reporting practice. This relationship will help J-students develop their journalism skills, knowledge of the industry and ideas about their own career path.
