After years of planning, 31 journalism undergraduate students and three Journalism Department staff will be off to England by Air New Zealand on 25 May for a week in the big city. Staying in a hostel in Piccadilly, right in the centre of town, the group will "do" the tourist sites and visit the news media, as well as pop into City University's Journalism Department and take a look at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office's press operations. All will be captured on video not only for nostalgia purposes (and perhaps to laugh at each other afterwards) but also for showing to our prospective students in the future. We are grateful for the support for this special programme of the Drs. Richard and Esther Yewpick Lee Charitable Foundation, the School of Communication and the Department of Journalism.
