Baptist
University from the Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok Airport |
| |
|
Our
airport is one of the most impressive and modern in the world. It
is located on a lovely island called Lantau. The best way for you
to get to Baptist University from the airport is via the airport
express train to Tsing Yi station (just one stop), to then catch
a taxi directly to Baptist University.
The
walk from where you exit HK immigration to the airport express train
is just about 2 minutes. You can use a trolley from where you pick
up your luggage to the door of your train so no worries about lugging
heavy luggages around.
The
ride from Chek Lap Kok airport to Tsing Yi station generally takes
just a few minutes (one stop only). In Tsing Yi station, where you
would then catch a taxi, you would have to take either an elevator
or the escalator from your train platform to the 3/F, where you
would find the taxi stop. From where you get off the train, it is
just again a 3-4 minutes in-door walk to the taxis.
No
need to worry about the availability of taxis. We have a good system
where queues are well-managed and helpers are available to help
lift your luggage onto the taxi.

Airport
Bus |
| |
|
The
least expensive way to travel from the airport to the Hong Kong Baptist
University is to take the airport bus E22. At the airport, follow
the signs to 'airbuses'. The fare is HK$18 but you need to pay the
exact money, since no change is given. The journey usually takes about
45 minutes. Get off the bus at the stop in Junction Road marked on
the map. This stop
is the one immediately after the large Hong Kong Baptist Hospital,
which you cannot miss as the bus goes along Cornwall Street. |
