Seminar topic: Organizational Intelligence of Multinational Corporation in Organizational Adaptation: from Systems Perspective

Abstract

With an increasing number of studies on organizational behavior and communication, more attention is paid to organizational intelligence (OI). But a lack of a unified theory of OI has resulted in numerous fragmented perspectives and ideas (Glynn, 1996). The confusion of ontology and fragmented epistemologies of OI studies makes it very difficult to operationalize and apply in future studies. This research aims to ameliorate these problems by providing an OI model of cross-cultural adaptation of multinational corporations from open-systems perspective.
