Seminar topic: Key Concepts in the Thoughts of Freedom of Expression and Its Early Ideological Foundation

Abstract

Where does “freedom of expression” come from? On what do the thoughts of it based? The purpose of this seminar is to explore the origins and evolution of the thoughts of freedom of expression. By depicting the genetics and transformation of the ideological foundation of the thoughts of freedom of expression in modern Britain, I wish to offer a conceptual foundation for current studies on liberty and democratic affairs.
