馮筱才,復旦大學歷史系教授。主要研究20世紀中國歷史,特別關注政治社會史及政治經濟史。 研究興趣主要包括政商互動關系、群眾運動與政治動員、輿論控制及宣傳策略等方面。目前已出版兩部專書:《北伐前后的商民運動(1924-1930)》(台灣商務印書館,2004)以及《在商言商:政治變局中的江浙商人》(上海社科院出版社,2004)。
Feng Xiaocai is professor of Chinese History at Fudan University, China. His research focus is on twentieth-century China, with an emphasis on political, social and economic history. His research interests include: interaction between politics and business, political mobility and mass movement, media policy and propagation strategies, etc. He is the author of Merchant Movement in the North Expedition, 1924-1930 (Taiwan Commercial Press, 2004) and Business is Business: the Merchants from Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province in Changing Politics (Shanghai Academy of Social Science Press, 2004).
羅卡,曾任職香港國際電影節,策劃/編輯 “香港電影回顧”,後任香港電影資料館節目部;現已退休,仍任特約研究員。著作有<香港電影點與線>(2006), <黎民偉 - 人· 時代.電影> (合編, 1999), <香港電影類型論> (合著, 1997) 等書。英文專書有 <香港電影跨文化觀 > (合寫, 2004), <從舞臺到講臺--早期香港戲劇及演藝活動 1900-1941> (合寫, 1999)。有關香港電影的研究文章散見於北京《當代電影》《電影藝術》,香港的《香港電影》《電影雙周刊》《明報月刊》等期刊。
Law Kar was coordinator and editor of Retrospect of Hong Kong Film (1990-2000) published by the Hong Kong International Film Festival and he also served the Hong Kong Film Archive from 2001 to 2005. He is now retired and is project researcher for the Film Archive. His English publications include: Hong Kong Cinema - A Cross Cultural View (2004, co-authored), From Artform to Platform, Hong Kong Plays and Performances 1900-1941 (1999, co-authored), a chapter in Forever China (2008, Poshek Fu ed.), and In Full Speed (Esther Yau ed.). He also has publications in Chinese and his essays appear in several major film magazines in Hong Kong.

Qin Xiqing has a Ph.D. from the Chinese National Academy of Arts (CNAA) and is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Film & Television Studies, CNAA. Her research areas include: Chinese film history and women cinema. She is the author of European /American Cinema and Early Chinese Film(1920-1930) (China Film Press, 2008), Western Feminist Cinema : Theory, Criticism and Practice (China Film Press, 2008), and J-F. Lyotard: a Postmodern Theorist (2002, Culture & Arts Press).

Xiao Zhiwei is an associate professor in the History Department at California State University, San Marcos. His major publications include Encyclopedia of Chinese Film (co-authored with Yingjin Zhang) and numerous essays in academic journals and edited books.

Yung Sai-shing obtained his BA and M Phil degrees from the Department of Chinese, University of Hong Kong, and Ph.D. from the Princeton University. Specializing on traditional Chinese drama, he has been teaching in the National University of Singapore since 1991. His research interests include late Ming drama, social history of Cantonese opera/music (1900-1965), Chinese opera in Singapore, and Hong Kong cinematic and print culture during the 1950s. His major publications include: The Anthropology of Chinese Drama: Ritual, Theater, and Community (in Chinese) (Taipei, 1997; rpt in China, 2003); Cantonese Opera from the Gramophone: a Cultural History (1903-1953) (in Chinese) (Hong Kong, 2006).

Stephanie Chung Po Yin is professor of Department of History at Hong Kong Baptist University and she holds a D. Phil from the University of Oxford. Her research interests include social and economic history, business history, history of business laws and customs, as well as migration and enterprises in south China and Southeast Asia. Her publications include She is the author of Chinese Business Groups in Hong Kong and Political Changes in South China (London) and she has also published articles in major journals such as Modern Asian Studies and Asia Europe Journal. Other publications include book chapters “Corporate Globalization: Business Cultures in Europe and in Asia”and “Chinese Transnational Enterprises: Cultural Affinity and Business Strategies”.
菅原慶乃,關西大學文學系映像文化專修副教授,大阪大學言語文化學博士。1998年至2001年在北京電影學院留學(高級進修生)。主要論文有“1920年代上海的國片製片公司”及”1920年代的美國對中國電影市場的關注”等。
SUGAWARA, Yoshino is an associate professor in the Faculty of Letters, Kansai University. She holds a Ph.D. from the graduate school of language and culture studies of Osaka University. She was a senior advanced-study student at the Beijing Film Academy from 1998 to 2001. Her recent publications (Japanese) include Film production in Shanghai during the 1920's, The America's concerns about Chinese film market during the 1920's.

Ruby Cheung is The Leverhulme Trust Research Associate at the Centre for Film Studies at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where she works as part of the ‘Dynamics of World Cinema’ team. She holds a PhD in Film Studies from the University of St. Andrews. Cheung’s research interests include East Asian cinemas, Asian film industries, diasporic film distribution, regional and national film policy, Chinese diasporic on-line fandom and issues of film promotion. She is the editor of Cinemas, Identities and Beyond (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2009), co-editor of Film Festival Yearbook 2: Film Festivals and Imagined Communities (St. Andrews Film Studies, 2010), and Film Festival Yearbook 3: Film Festivals and East Asia (St. Andrews Film Studies, 2011, forthcoming). Her latest work includes a contribution to the volume The Epic Film in World Culture (edited by Robert Burgoyne, Routledge, 2011, forthcoming) in which she discusses extensively on Chinese epic films and Chinese spectatorship.

Albert Wei-min Tang is currently Associate Professor in Film and Cultural Studies in Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. His research interests include Chinese cinema(s), Taiwan studies, and Cultural Studies. He also serves as Director of Academic Exchange Center and deputy Director of EUTW at FJU Office, Office of International Education. He has translated and edited several articles or books in Film, Media and Cultural Studies, and has worked for Golden Horse Film Festival two times.

Stephanie Ng is a Ph.D. student in Hong Kong Baptist University. She is also the scriptwriter of the documentary film, Lai Man Wai - Father of Hong Kong Cinema (2002) and the video production of the exhibition and the exhibition catalogue, Hong Kong on the Silver Screen (2001). She organized exhibitions, screenings, seminars and edited related publications in Hong Kong Film Archive from 2000-2003. Publications includes Hong Kong Cinema: Nostalgia and Ideology (co-author, 2007), Shaws Galaxy of Stars (co-editor, 2003), Living in Hong Kong – the 50s & 60s (co-editor, 2001) etc.

Xihe Chen graduated from The China Arts Academy with a master degree and The Ohio State University with a Ph.D. degree. He served as research fellow and deputy director at the research department of the China Film Research Center (Beijing) in the 1980s, and is now professor and deputy dean of the School of Film and TV Art and Technology, Shanghai University. His recent publications include Chinese Experiences in the Films of Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong (2001), Aesthetics and Political Economy of Chinese Cinema (2003), On Xie Jin’s Films (2004), Film and TV in Cross-cultural Context (2002), Film and TV Criticism: Theory and Practice (2003), Chinese Language Cinema: Theory, History and Aesthetics (2010). His English publications include: Shadowplay (Ying-Xi): Chinese Film Aesthetics and Their Philosophical and Cultural Fundamentals (1990), Red Theories, Blue Theories, and Beyond (2004), and Film in Contemporary China: 1979-1989 (ed. 1993).
盧非易,美國南加州大學電影學院藝術創作碩士(MFA),現任國立政治大學傳播學院副教授兼副院長。曾任編劇,導演,製作人,主持多項電影資料庫建置與研究計畫,並出版文學創作與影視媒體學術專書多種。主要著作為《台灣電影:政治,經濟,美學》、《Island on the Edge: Taiwan New Cinema and After》。其新近研究聚焦於數位敘事與新媒體。
Feii Lu graduated from the Cinematic School of the University of Southern California with a MFA degree. Lu is now Associate Professor and the Vice Dean of the Communication College, National Chengchi University. Lu is also writer, director and producer. He leads a number of research projects on film and has established several movie databases. His publications are mainly on media, culture critique and film research, including the award winning book Taiwan Cinema: Politics, Economy and Aesthetics and Island on the Edge: Taiwan New Cinema and After. His recent projects focus on digital narratives and new media.
