Applications for the spring semester starting from February should be submitted before 15 September, and applications for the fall semester starting from September should be submitted before 15 March. Applications can be submitted via post or fax. For students who would like to conduct research at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), please see below for application procedures. Graduate students from HKBU who would like to conduct research overseas under the LEWI RGS programme please contact Miss Alice Lu directly.

A complete application should include:

(a) An Application Form;

(b) A curriculum vitae;

(c) Statement of objective;

(d) A Research proposal;

(e) A Letter of Approval to be completed by an appropriate authority from the home institution and

to be endorsed by the official LEWI representative at home institution; and

(f) A Field Supervision Acceptance Form*

*Applicants should approach and request an academic from HKBU to be his/her field supervisor during his/her research stay at HKBU.The field supervisor needs to fill in the Field Supervision Acceptance Form and send it to LEWI directly. Please note that without the signed Acceptance Form, the application is not considered complete.

(g) Any other supporting documents.
