HKBU Honours Projects

The database contains records of Honours Projects undertaken by HKBU final-year students. Full-text research papers of selected Honours Projects, if recommended by the department /
program and with release permission signed by authors, are included in PDF format.
The Library also uploads the most updated editions of Honours Project Handbooks annually
that are supplied by the participating departments / programmes. [ BU ]
HKBU Teaching Development Grants (TDG) Projects

To enhance the quality of teaching and learning, HKBU initiated the TDG scheme to encourage new teaching strategies.
This database provides full-text images of the final reports. It is a joint effort between the Academic Registry and Library.
HKBU Theses & Dissertations

This collection contains abstracts, tables of contents, and full texts (since 2004) of all HKBU M.Phil. and Ph.D. theses,
plus a limited number of dissertations of students enrolled in taught postgraduate programs made available online, with the earliest thesis
dating back to 1991.

Christianity in Contemporary China Clippings Database

It provides indexes and full-text images of newspaper and periodical clippings
pertaining to the development of Christianity and government policies in China from 1950 to 1976.
Contemporary China Newspaper Clippings Database

[ HELP ]

The database provides citations to selected articles from 14 Hong Kong newspapers
published in 1992-1998. Clippings can be read at the Special Collections & Archives (L4).
HK Television Programmes Database

The database contains catalogue records of the news, public affairs, and information television programmes produced by
the local television companies since 1990. Items can be viewed at the Multimedia Learning Centre (L4).
Online Video Resources

The project aims to provide a channel to video sites on the Intranet and on the Web. It includes the digitized TV programmes
of HKBU Library and links to selected educational video web sites on various subjects, including Film Studies, TV channels, Science, Politics, etc.
Overseas Chinese Clippings Database

The database contains indexes and full-text images of clippings pertaining to the Chinese
and Taiwanese government policies on Overseas Chinese from 1950 through 1971.

China Through the Eyes of CIM Missionaries

This collection of lantern slides, glass plate and plastic negatives includes images of portraits, landscapes, scenery and architecture in China as well as shots documenting
the social conditions and economic activities of the Chinese from the 1900s to the 1930s. It was a gift of the Billy Graham Center Archives, Wheaton College
in 1998.
Chinese Medicine Specimen Database

The database is established to help promoting people's awareness of the variety, authenticity, and effective use of Chinese Medicines. It currently has a collection of all exhibits of Chinese Materia Medica specimen that are displayed in the Chinese Medicine Center of Hong Kong Baptist University.
Elsie Tu Digital Collection

Portrait Gallery of Chinese Writers

This portrait collection of thirty-six Chinese writers was drawn by Mr. Kong Kai Ming, a respected Hong Kong painter. These thirty-six writers
have exerted seminal influence in the fields of Chinese literature, history, and philosophy.
