HKBU Examination Papers    [ BU ]  [ HELP ]     The database offers the full-text images of the past HKBU examination papers received by the Library since 1991.   HKBU Faculty and Staff Papers and Reports Catalogue    [ BU ]  [ HELP ]     The catalogue lists published and non-published writings by HKBU faculty and staff that were either donated to, or collected by the Library. Items can be checked out at the Circulation Counter (L3).   HKBU Honours Projects    [ ALL ]  [ HELP ]     The database contains records of Honours Projects undertaken by HKBU final-year students. Full-text research papers of selected Honours Projects, if recommended by the department / program and with release permission signed by authors, are included in PDF format.     The Library also uploads the most updated editions of Honours Project Handbooks annually that are supplied by the participating departments / programmes. [ BU ]   HKBU Teaching Development Grants (TDG) Projects    [ BU ]  [ HELP ]     To enhance the quality of teaching and learning, HKBU initiated the TDG scheme to encourage new teaching strategies. This database provides full-text images of the final reports. It is a joint effort between the Academic Registry and Library.   HKBU Theses & Dissertations    [ ALL ]       This collection contains abstracts, tables of contents, and full texts (since 2004) of all HKBU M.Phil. and Ph.D. theses, plus a limited number of dissertations of students enrolled in taught postgraduate programs made available online, with the earliest thesis dating back to 1991.

Christianity in Contemporary China Clippings Database    [ ALL ]  [ HELP ]     It provides indexes and full-text images of newspaper and periodical clippings pertaining to the development of Christianity and government policies in China from 1950 to 1976.   Contemporary China Newspaper Clippings Database    [ ALL ]  [ HELP ]     The database provides citations to selected articles from 14 Hong Kong newspapers published in 1992-1998. Clippings can be read at the Special Collections & Archives (L4).   HK Television Programmes Database    [ ALL ]  [ HELP ]     The database contains catalogue records of the news, public affairs, and information television programmes produced by the local television companies since 1990. Items can be viewed at the Multimedia Learning Centre (L4).   Online Video Resources    [ BU ]     The project aims to provide a channel to video sites on the Intranet and on the Web. It includes the digitized TV programmes of HKBU Library and links to selected educational video web sites on various subjects, including Film Studies, TV channels, Science, Politics, etc.   Overseas Chinese Clippings Database    [ ALL ]  [ HELP ]     The database contains indexes and full-text images of clippings pertaining to the Chinese and Taiwanese government policies on Overseas Chinese from 1950 through 1971.

Dissertations and Theses Collection (DTC)    [ ALL ]       DTC enables users to cross-search Hong Kong postgraduate students’ dissertations and theses indexed in seven local university library catalogues.   Law Library Collections (LLC)    [ ALL ]       LLC allows cross search on the law collections indexed in the catalogues of five Hong Kong university and government law libraries.   Medical Library Collections (MLC)    [ ALL ]       MLC facilitates users to cross-search the medical materials indexed in the catalogues of five academic medical and dental libraries in Hong Kong.   Multimedia Collections (MTC)    [ ALL ]       MTC is a platform to cross-search the multimedia and music score collections indexed in the catalogues of nine Hong Kong academic libraries.   Hong Kong Library Science Database (HKLS)    [ ALL ]       It facilitates a one-stop search on the citations of Hong Kong librarians' writings and publications on library science and information, as well as any other local and overseas publications on the themes of Hong Kong libraries and information services.   Hong Kong Digitization Project Initiatives (HKdpi)    [ ALL ]       HKdpi is a showcase of the digitization projects launched by Hong Kong libraries. These digitization projects are the libraries' effort to disseminate information on various disciplines to their users and the public.

The Calligraphy, Sayings and Writings of Famous Chinese Writers    [ ALL ]       This is the online version of the large banner hanging from Level 7 to Level 3 in the Artgallery of the Library.   China Through the Eyes of CIM Missionaries    [ ALL ]  [ HELP ]     This collection of lantern slides, glass plate and plastic negatives includes images of portraits, landscapes, scenery and architecture in China as well as shots documenting the social conditions and economic activities of the Chinese from the 1900s to the 1930s. It was a gift of the Billy Graham Center Archives, Wheaton College in 1998.   Chinese Medicine Specimen Database    [ ALL ]     The database is established to help promoting people's awareness of the variety, authenticity, and effective use of Chinese Medicines. It currently has a collection of all exhibits of Chinese Materia Medica specimen that are displayed in the Chinese Medicine Center of Hong Kong Baptist University.    Elsie Tu Digital Collection    [ ALL ]  [ HELP ]      In order to provide public access to some records in the Elsie Tu Papers, the Special Collections & Archives has selected Dr. Tu's speeches and non-copyrighted publications and created "Elsie Tu Digital Collection". Users can search, browse and read the fulltext of these materials online.   Portrait Gallery of Chinese Writers    [ ALL ]       This portrait collection of thirty-six Chinese writers was drawn by Mr. Kong Kai Ming, a respected Hong Kong painter. These thirty-six writers have exerted seminal influence in the fields of Chinese literature, history, and philosophy.
