RefWorks is a Web-based bibliographic management tool that allows you to:
  • Import references directly from major databases available through the Library homepage and the Library Catalogue or from text files, or enter references manually.
  • Create personal folders and organize references into folders for different topics.
  • Format in-text citations.
  • Create bibliographies in a variety of citation styles including APA, MLA, and Chicago.
  • Access your references from any location via the Web.
Access to RefWorks: Login by register for a personal RefWorks account through ITSC for first-time user at http://www.hkbu.edu.hk/refworks/account.php.
Off-campus Access: After user authentication process, you need to enter a Group Code first before you can login your personal RefWorks account.
Using Write-N-Cite: Write-N-Cite is a utility programme that facilitates formatting papers within MS Word including in-text citations and creating a bibliography at the end of the document in your preferred citation style.
