Attainment of AACSB International Accreditation for School of Business

We are proud to announce our attainment of the AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International) accreditation for the School of Business, an elite distinction being recognized as a hallmark of excellence in management education for business schools worldwide.

Founded in 1916, AACSB is the largest and the longest standing specialized accrediting agency for business and accounting programmes, with about 590 accredited members representing less than 5% of the premier business schools worldwide. Amongst some of the notable AACSB accredited business schools worldwide include Harvard University, London Business School and Stanford University.

AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement and our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Over the years, the School has put forth tremendous effort through development and implementation of plans to meet the AACSB standards. These include the management of resources to achieve a vibrant and relevant mission, advancement of business and management knowledge as well as high-caliber teaching of quality curricula.

With the announcement of this news by AACSB global headquarters on 6 April 2010, I am honoured to attend the AACSB accreditation celebration reception during the AACSB International Conference and Annual Meeting to be held on 18-20 April 2010 in Anaheim, California, US together with two Associate Deans, Professor Allan Chan and Dr Peter Lau.
