Setting Up Netscape Mail for HKBU Accounts

Choose Options and Mail and News Preferences from the menu bar (see below)

• The first one is Servers, change all settings as shown in the following screenshot:

• Then, select Identity and change the settings like the following screenshot:

IMPORTANT
The above instructions illustrate how to setup Netacape in order to use Usenet Newsgroups and Listserv Mailing Lists through the Netscape environment (i.e., Netscape Navigator, Netscape News and Netscape Mail).
Because of the default network settings by the HKBU Computing and Telecommunications Services Centre (CTSC), this method only allows you to send emails. To receive any emails, you still need to use Lotus CC:Mail.

• To use CC:Mail, choose Option 2 (MS-DOS 6.2 Application Software) when you first login Netware Services Main Menu
• Then, choose Option 6 (Lotus CC:Mail 4.0) at the Netware System DOS Software Menu.
