1. Assistant Manager / Executive Officer (PR036/08-09)

The appointee will be responsible for servicing the Council and the Court of the University; providing secretarial and administrative services to committees; assisting with projects and events; and performing general administrative duties.

Applicants should have a Bachelorˇ¦s Degree with at least four years of relevant work experience. An excellent command of English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua, and good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Appointment will initially be made on a fixed term contract of one to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.

2. Psychological Counsellor (PR039/08-09)

The appointee is expected to provide individual and group counselling to students; to administer and interpret clinical, psychological and career testing; to plan and conduct training on topics relevant to developmental needs of students (psychological competence, study skills, relationship building, helping skills and etc.); to coordinate training programmes in promoting whole-person development; to participate in team projects of the Office; to be in charge of other administrative duties as assigned, may take up major leadership role according to qualification and experiences of individual candidate; to align with the ethos of the University and philosophical orientation of the centre.

Applicants should have a post graduate degree in clinical psychology, counselling, or related discipline. A minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification professional experience for Counsellor rank. Strong interests in working with university students; good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese are essential. Fluent in Putonghua will be an advantage. Those with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Counsellor.


Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
