1. Senior Human Resources Officer / Human Resources Officer (PR068/08-09)

The University is looking for young professionals who would like to pursue a career in human resources management in higher education.  The appointee is expected to be able to provide executive support in the areas of human resources policies, documentation, committee work, staff recruitment/appointment, administration of staff benefits, performance planning and review. The Office will provide training to the young professionals to enable them to specialize in areas of their interest and ability.

Applicants should have a Bachelorˇ¦s Degree, and at least 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a sizable organization. He/She should possess good analytical skills, a good standard of written and spoken Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese) and English. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and skills in computing applications are also necessary. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Human Resources Officer.

2. Human Resources Assistant (PR069/08-09)

The appointee is expected to provide professional customer service at the reception counter and to provide support to various human resources functions including recruitment, benefits administration, staff relation activities, as well as to perform general clerical duties and office administration works, etc.

Applicants should have at least Form 5 standard with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (at least Grade C if syllabus A / Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese, with several years of work experience preferably in the area of human resources.

3. Office Assistant (PR070/08-09)

The appointee is expected to perform general office duties such as providing counter service, filing, photocopying, delivering outgoing mails to various on-camps departments/units/centres, assisting in meetings and functions, and any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have Form 5 standard, preferably with some work experience.

Applicants for Post 2 & Post 3 should have good command of oral and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good computer skills including English and Chinese word-processing, and knowledge of common computer software such as MS Office. He/She should have good interpersonal skills, service-oriented attitude and be able to work in a team.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
