Hello, my name is TROY. This revised version of my Philopsychy Society Member's Profile has been on the web since Januray 26, 2001. I work as an administrator at a private university in New York. I have spent much of my time trying to answer the fundamental metaphysical questions and creating a context for studying and understanding the nature of existence. You can contact me by e-mail at troybny@mailcity.com, or by conventional post at:

Something I've written that might be of some interest to you is called Legacy: To The Chosen. It is self-published (photocopied), by Troy Brisport, 1999. It is available in computerized form at: http://www.angelfire.com/yt/LEGACY/index.html
Other Society members are invited to contact me if they are interested in trading their writings for any of the above.
Finally, just so you can get to know me a little, here's something special I'd like you to know:
My work is for the thinker but not exclusively academic in substances. Right from the outset, let it be known, the objective of my work is not an endeavor in scientific inquiry, or even an attempt to revolutionize social consciousness through newly discovered methods, phenomena or data. I pretend to present no panacea, no absolute answers; they are beyond my aspirations. Instead, I boldly exclaim the virtue of this body of work, and a right and purpose in its promulgation. It is essentially grounded in practicality, but innately manifested in abstraction. It is here for the taking, but so few will accept. Its words may be brash, its tact may be lacking, its assertions without abundant substance, its conclusions without sufficient methodological proof, ... and its arguments without rigorous academic merit; it yet remains, if nothing else, a body of work owing to the true experience of men, albeit lacking in cunning and subterfuge. It is a product of the present environment, the storied past, the limited perspective and the paradox of subjectivity. It is all the knowledge that can be known and may just as well fall into the abyss as ignorance in darkness. It is truly the world as it is presented.
