Hello, my name is Jean. This first version of my Philopsychy Society Member's Profile has been on the web since January 16, 1997. I am a librarian at Hesser College in Manchester, NH. I help students in their research and computer literacy development. I am the founder and director of the Onto-Therapy Institute. Two to four times a year, I give seminars on my research. This past year, I have given four seminars called the "Magic of the Senses." My special interest and expertise is in synoptic philosophy, an interdisciplinary approach to what it means to be really alive. You can contact me by e-mail at jeanc@bit-net.com, or by conventional post at:

I do not yet have a WWW home page.
Something I've written that might be of some interest to you is called Onto-Therapy: Back to the Real Basics. The 90,000-word manuscript is about fundamental ideas and realities that can provide an enduring basis for living in a meaningful way. It is not yet completed (first draft needs revision). It is available in computerized form (but not on the WWW).
Other Society members are invited to contact me if they are interested in trading their writings for the above.
Finally, just so you can get to know me a little, here's something special I'd like you to know:
What does it mean to be really alive? This is the central question
that motivates and invigorates my life. I have spent the last twenty
years seeking to form an answer to this fundamental reflection. Is
this something special about me? Maybe. I don't think too many people
spend that much time in this kind of endeavor. The members of the
Philopsychy Society seem to be the special exception.
