PPS Member's Profile: Clark Thomas

Hello, my name is Clark. This first version of my Philopsychy Society Member's Profile has been on the web since 7/31/96. I work in sales (for experience and money), as an entrepreneur (for dreams), and as a philosopher (for love). I am a 21st century philosopher dealing with the relationship between humans and compumans, ethical silicon philosophers that will appear within twenty years. You can contact me by e-mail at cmthomas@earthlink.net, or by conventional post at:

427 King George Ave., #3
Roanoke, VA 24016
U.S.A.

My WWW home page is located at: http://home.earthlink.net/~cmthomas/index.html.

Something I've written that might be of some interest to you is called Humans and Compumans: An essay dealing with mind and spirit in the human/compuman interface. It is self-published (photocopied). It is available in computerized form at: http://home.earthlink.net/~cmthomas/H&C.html

I've also written the following: Conversations With Adam

Other Society members are invited to contact me if they are interested in trading their writings for any of the above.

Finally, just so you can get to know me a little, here's something special I'd like you to know:
I am an independent philosopher, and have spent over twenty years developing the themes in both books. Furthermore, I have an interest in other areas. Two of them are referenced in my home page. I also am working with the inventor of a new system of computation which, if successfully developed, could allow the creation of a machine philosopher within ten years. The outcome of my researches is highly supportive of the highest goals of this Society.
