Hello, my name is John. This first version of my Philopsychy Society Member's Profile has been on the web since February 26, 1997. Currently I operate my own human resources consulting business. I have worked with and as a member of major international businesses. However, my interest in the capitalist condition of our province, and with the major industrial countries has led me away from business and back to where I began - humanistic psychology. I have a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations and a BA in psychology. I have worked in business, currently as a consultant. However, I am returning to graduate school to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology.
My interest are Jungian, and specifically the significance of alchemy in understanding the personal and collective unconscious. My area of psychotherapy relates to developing and understanding the projection of the unconscious into useful conscious products. You can contact me by e-mail at jleiper@ibm.net, or by conventional post at:

I do not yet have a WWW home page.
I am in the process of organizing a collection of poems I have written over the past 15 years. I also have the developed the framework for my first novel.
Finally, just so you can get to know me a little, here's something special I'd like you to know:
I am very concerned with the pressure society is placing on the individual's psyche. From early stages of development we are conditioned to seek external rewards, success, and status as the route to happiness. I believe true happiness must first develop internally and then be applied to society. I also believe that both stages are essential for an individual to attain completeness, or the true discovery of the Self. In my writings and readings I pursue the above personal philosophy.
