Philopsychy Society Member's Profile:
The Revd Richard Mapplebeckpalmer, M.A.
Third version, submitted 8 March 2001.
Fr. Richard graduated from Cambridge University, England, with a Masters in Theology and subsequently studied for Anglican Orders at Cuddesdon College, Oxford. He was ordained at York Minster on Trinity Sunday, 1958 at the hands of Archbishop Michael Ramsey. He has served parishes in four dioceses, York, Manchester, Oxford, and California. He is currently (since 1989) the Director of The Grace Institute for Religious Learning and (since 1995) the Pastor of Grace North Church, a Congregational Catholic Parish in Berkeley, California. His primary philosophical concerns arise from relating the latest conclusions of Cognitive Science with the gospel practice of a catholic (with a small 'c') spirituality.
