Hello, my name is Steve. This revised version of my Philopsychy Society Member's Profile has been on the web since 5 June 1998 . My paycheck comes from teaching religion and philosophy classes to university students in Hong Kong. Since September of 1992, I have been getting more and more involved in the field of self-publishing. I am a specialist in Immanuel Kant's philosophy and on the Geometry of Logic. I am also very interested in Jungian psychology and in the newly developing field of philosophical counseling. You can contact me by e-mail at stevepq@hkbu.edu.hk, or by conventional post at:

Something I've written that might be of some interest to you is called The Tree of Philosophy. A course of introductory lectures for beginning students of philosophy. It is self-published (printed and softbound). Philopsychy Press 1995 (third edition). It is available in computerized form at: http://www.hkbu.edu.hk/~ppp/top/toc.html
I've also written the following:
For more information on these books, see the Philopsychy Press booklist.
Other Society members are invited to contact me if they are interested in trading their writings for any of the above.
Finally, just so you can get to know me a little, here's something special I'd like you to know:
Dreams of Wholeness (Philopsychy Press, 1997).
I founded the Philopsychy Society in March of 1996, in order to
provide a support group for self-publishers and any one else interested
in the Society's ideals. My hope is that this Society will demonstrate
to the world that self-publishing can be a viable and respectable
alternative to conventional publishing, and that the written word can be
an effective means of promoting the universal human need to understand
and practise love. Anyone who wishes to know more about me as a person is
welcome to check out my web site.
