Hello, my name is Frank. This first version of my Philopsychy Society Member's Profile has been on the web since August 11, 1998. I teach basic literacy and high school equivalency to adults for the New York City Board of Education. My dissertation was on the intellectual development of Charles Sanders Peirce, whose influence, like that of St. Thomas Aquinas, seems to pervade my thinking. I am deeply interested in the philosophy of religion, and especially in issues of practical spirituality and interreligious dialogue. You can contact me by e-mail at mentor@arisbe.net, or by conventional post at:

At the moment, I don't wish to include any information about my writings on this Profile.
Finally, just so you can get to know me a little, here's something special I'd like you to know:
I am an active member of the World Community for Christian Meditation founded to hand on the legacy of Dom John Main, O.S.B., acknowledged by Dom Bede Griffiths, O.S.B., as the greatest spiritual teacher of our time. I owe a great debt of gratitude to the writings of Dom Bede and Swami Abhishiktananda (Dom Henri le Saux, O.S.B.) and I was pleased to find a practical spiritual path which I regard as being of their lineage. I have always found great edification in Indian philosophy, and was persuaded by Dom Bede's teaching that Thomism, rightly understood, occupies a central and mediating position among the schools of Vedanta.
