Hello, my name is Ellen. This revised version of my Philopsychy Society Member's Profile was submitted on 10/26/01. I am a registered occupational therapist (OTR) with primary experience in community inpatient mental health. Currently, I offer online psychospiritual counseling services in addition to writing on related subjects. My search for Higher meaning and life purpose led to a long-term study of Eastern philosophies/religions and esoteric symbolism, with a special interest in universal archetypes and their relationship to human psychology through what Carl Jung termed the collective unconscious--this crossing paths with my professional interests & work. You can contact me by e-mail at ezecker@chibardun.net, or by conventional post at:

My WWW home page is located at: http://www.chibardun.net/~ezecker.
Something I've written that might be of some interest to you is called THROUGH THE TAROT LOOKING GLASS_In Search of Self:. Guide to the Psychodynamics of Tarot Imagery. It is commercially published by Deep South Publishing Co, 1999. It is available in computerized form at: http://www.booklocker.com/bookpages/euecker.html
I've also written the following: The Psychodynamics of Tarot Imagery_In Search of Self published at Alumbo.com in September, 2001.
For the time being, I do not wish to trade any of the above for writings by other Society members.
Finally, just so you can get to know me a little, here's something special I'd like you to know:
Although my training and experience in the mental health field was very traditional and mainstream in its orientation, I have discovered that the most meaningful and effective counseling must attend to the spirit as well as the mind/psyche. My approach is Jungian-oriented and metaphysical, and I have also integrated the sciences of astrology & numerology, using chart interpretations as an adjunct to psychospiritual guidance. This only came about following over 20 years
of study, which proved to me that these were valuable tools to Self-discovery, when used properly and responsibly. They are "signposts" available to show the way for those who learn how to read them, as "synchronicity" was for Jung, and continues to become more apparent to many in this time of accelerated spiritual enlightenment.
