Dr Hua ZHOU
Assistant Professor, Teaching Division
Dr. Zhou obtained his Bachelor of Chinese Medicines and Master of Medical Science from Department of Chinese Medicines, Guangzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1993 and 1996, respectively. He then acquired a Ph.D. degree in the areas of immunology and pharmacology from the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2001, followed by a year of postdoctoral training in the Division of Cardiac Physiology of College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, New York. Dr. Zhou specializes in cardiopharmacology, immunopharmacology, herbal pharmacology and drug research and development in Chinese herbal medicines.
