Dr Min XU
Assistant Professor, Expert in Internal Chinese Medicine
Dr Xu graduated from the Guangxii College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1981 with a Bachelor of Medicine degree and then obtained his master's degree at the Guangzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1988, with specialty in integrating Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of internal medicine. He then acquired his doctoral degree at the University of Western Australia in 2000. During 2000-2002, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr Xu had been working at the Guangzhou University of TCM as associate professor for the research of clinical pharmacology and Orthopaedics &Traumatology. He is now the Assistant Professor of the School of Chinese Medicine, HKBU. Dr Xu is a member of the Action Committee Against Narcotics Sub-committee on Treatment and Rehabilitation (Hong Kong). His interests are in research and clinical treatment of osteoporosis and phytoestrogens, endocrine dyscrasia, and tumors.
