Dr Shi graduated from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology. He then came to the Hong Kong Baptist University to further his research studies and was conferred the PhD degree in Chinese Medicine. Dr Shi had served as a Chinese medicine practitioner in the Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology of the China-Japan Friendship Hospital. He excels in treating bone dislocation and fracture, injuries of the soft tissues, and pain diseases on the neck, shoulder, waist and the back. He is deeply involved in research of the Chinese medicine treatment of fatigue induced by exercise. Dr Shi has published a number of research papers and abstracts for science conferences. He is currently teaching the subjects of "Orthopaedics & Traumatology of Chinese Medicine" and "Tui Na".
