University Library showcases impressive German photo books

The exhibition showcases over 100 interesting photo books

The University Library, in collaboration with the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA) and the Goethe-Institut Hong Kong, is holding an exhibition on German photograph books featuring more than 100 books published in Germany.

 

A talk, Photobooks from Germany to Hong Kong, was also recently held. Dr Almuth Meyer-Zollitsch, director of Goethe-Institut Hong Kong, introduced the German Photobook Prize which has honoured special achievements by authors, photographers and publishers in the photobook sector since 1975. Mr Kalen Lee, Assistant Professor of the AVA, shared his insights on the teaching of narrative photography.
